Monthly Member Meetings
AAPA meets on the first Thursday of every month at a downtown Asheville restaurant. Meeting time is 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Monthly meeting topics primarily relate to a substantive area of law. The Programs Committee attempts to schedule topics relative to a variety of practice areas. Topics related to life issues in general are occasionally covered for the benefit of members, for example, discussions about Self Defense and Stress Relief.
All first time meeting attendees will be admitted free of charge!.
CPE credit from the North Carolina State Bar Board of Paralegal Certification may be available for AAPA monthly meetings. If CPE credit is desired a member or attendee may submit a request for approval of credit to the Certification Board. A form to request CPE credit is available as a download below.

Monthly Practice Area Round Table Meetings
AAPA selects a different practice area to discuss at its Round Table meetings on the third Thursday of each month. These meetings are held at a downtown restaurant from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. The cost of the meal is the responsibility of each attendee. Notices including the topic, guest speaker, and location are sent via email to our mailing list.
